Paolo Veneri, Ph.D. is an economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), where he is Head of the Regional Analysis and Statistics Unit in the Centre for Entrepreneurship. He works on topics related to urban and regional issues, including migration, well-being, urban spatial structure, inequality, and entrepreneurship. He is author of several OECD reports, including “Rural-urban partnerships: an integrated approach to economic development” (2013), “How’s Life in your Region?” (2014), “Regions at a Glance” (2016), and “Making cities work for all. Data and actions for Inclusive Growth” (2016). He has published several papers in academic journals within the field of urban economics and regional science.  He holds a PhD in Economics.
